THE LOCATION
This finca has a secluded location, which creates a sense of freedom and tranquility. You will surely be amazed by the beautiful surroundings on a daily base.
However, despite its remote location, you can reach the centre of Torremendo in less than 5 minutes or San Miguel de Salinas town center in 15 minutes.
The beaches of Torrevieja or Orihuela Costa can be reached in less than 30 minutes, as can the lively and historic city centre of Orihuela. The house is centrally located between the airports of Murcia or Alicante, which are at 65km from this property.
Furthermore, the finca is located in a special protection area for birds, namely Sierra Escalona and Dehesa de Campoamor. There is a dense population of eagle owls, with its imposing appearance one of the largest owl species in the world. But also buzzards and golden eagles can be spotted there.
TECHNICAL INSTALLATIONS
Moving on to the technical aspect of the house. The electricity is generated by 68 solar panels with 15 kW, 24 x 48-volt batteries and a 20 kW backup generator. All systems are fully automatic and can be controlled with an app on the mobile phone.
The swimming pool has a heat pump as well as automatic chlorine and PH machines so the pool always has the right values.
On the domain there is a water tank with a capacity of 22,000 litres (the water is delivered). There is a capacity of 600 litres for hot water, half of which is provided by separate solar panels and half by an air heat pump.
There is also a septic tank and a 15,000-litre underground tank for the irrigating the trees. Waste and rain water are collected in a separate 20,000-litre underground tank, which in turn provides water for irrigation.
